Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Concierge at The Barrieview Retirement Community in Barrie, Ontario. In this role you will greet visitors, learn residents’ stories, and provide personalized assistance to enhance daily life with warmth and professionalism.

You will build strong relationships with residents, families and staff, handling inquiries, managing basic records, and supporting the retirement team in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Ability to pass security checks including Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Check.
• Experience in a resident-facing role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, assess needs, and provide personalized assistance.
• Build rapport with residents, families, and staff to support daily living.
• Provide clerical and computer support to managers as needed.
• Document issues clearly and escalate when appropriate.

As a Concierge, you\'ll cultivate a profound understanding of our residents and their unique lifestyles. Building rapport with residents, their families, and visitors, you\'ll offer personalized assistance, ensuring everyone feels esteemed and assisted during their time with us. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
