Job summary

The Montgomery at Toronto by Rhapsody is seeking a courteous Concierge to welcome residents and guests, answer inquiries, and support community events. The role is a full-time, on-site position at one of Rhapsody’s luxury rental communities, offering hands-on customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate with residents, vendors and neighbours, maintain logs, assist with reservations and events, and help promote a safe, welcoming atmosphere while upholding Rhapsody’s core values

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED.
• 2+ years in upscale customer service/concierge setting preferred.
• Knowledge of neighborhood and community is a plus.
• Ability to rotate shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming residents and guests, answering Concierge phone line, after hours package pickup, addressing resident inquiries and concerns, updating communication logs on resident portal.
• Provide information, resources and a welcoming environment for residents, customers, vendors and neighbours.
• Build strong relationships with current and future members of the resident community.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents to ensure open communication between residents and community representatives.

Essential job functions:

• Welcoming residents and guests, answering Concierge phone line, after hours package pickup, addressing resident inquiries and concerns, updating communication logs on resident portal, manage general security (i.e.: loitering), etc.
• Provide information, resources and a welcoming environment for our residents, customers, vendors and neighbours.
• Have sound knowledge of the community and the surrounding area in order to answer questions with certainty.
• Build strong relationships with current and future members of the resident community.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents to ensure that communication between residents and community representatives is open and effective.
• Assist with on- and off-site resident events and initiatives.
• Provide marketing support with Social Media postings, Blogging, and Internet Presence.
• Work as part of the site team to ensure that each event is a sociable and pleasurable environment.
• Provide general resident services such as carrying items to suite, calling taxis, scheduling reservations, amenity reservations.
• Ensure that the Community Amenities area has property inventory.
• Monitor and assist with Amenity reservations and events.
• Review the Activity Log and be ready to begin work at the commencement of the shift.
• Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality and discretion with regards to residents.
• Adhere to all property guidelines and standards of performance.
• Maintain work area to an appropriate level of presentation.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of High School or general education degree(GED)
• 2+ years in an upscale customer service/concierge setting preferred.
• Existing knowledge of neighborhood and community preferred.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends) is required.
