• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related sales experience.
• Ability to manage time and schedule effectively and independently.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; Yardi experience is a plus.
• Functional knowledge of various Social Media tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Step in as the acting Property Manager at assigned locations as needed.
• Tour the property with prospects and answer questions about amenities, local community and other property details.
• Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting information and initiating background checks.
• Ensure all fees and deposits are collected by prospects and/or residents in a timely manner.
• Execute marketing and lead management activities to drive traffic to properties and create a lasting first impression.
• Maintain knowledge about local market conditions; monitor local competition.
• Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations and maintain retention.
• Coordinate paperwork related to apartment rentals and move-in processes with on-site staff.
• Escalate any unusual property/resident concerns to the Property Manager and/or Director.

• The ability to step in as the acting Property Manager at assigned locations as needed.
• Knowledge of Rhapsody properties to be able to tour the property with prospects and answering questions about the amenities, local community and other property details
• Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting appropriate information and initiating background checks
• Ensuring all fees, deposits or are collected by prospects and/or residents in a timely manner
• Execute all marketing and lead management activities to drive traffic to properties within the Rhapsody portfolio and create a lasting first impression
• Maintain knowledge about local market conditions; responsible for shopping local competition
• Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retention
• Use attention to detail, planning and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals
• Ensure all aspects of the move-in process are completed in advance of lease signing and coordinate with on-site staff where assistance is required. Activities may include resident screening, pre-tour unit, income verification, file maintenance, compliance screening, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Escalate any unusual property/resident concerns to the appropriate Property Manager and/or Director in a timely manner
• Additional duties as assigned
• Commission is part of compensation

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 + years of related sales experience.
• Ability to manage time and schedule effectively and independently when covering leasing responsibilities for one or more Rhapsody locations
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills and experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
• Functional knowledge of various Social Media tools and best practices.
