Job description

Fitzrovia is seeking to hire a part-time Concierge! The Concierge plays a critical role in delivering the high-end luxury experience that defines Fitzrovia properties. As the first point of contact for residents, guests and vendors, the Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming, refined and highly personalized experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the property.

As a brand ambassador for Fitzrovia, the Concierge builds strong relationships with residents, anticipates their needs and delivers exceptional service with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail. The successful candidate is proactive, adaptable and passionate about hospitality and creating memorable resident experiences.

As a highly collaborative team, this position will be required to work on-site full-time. This position primarily works on evenings and weekends.

This position is for an existing vacancy. The hourly rate for this position is $23.50, based on skills and experience. Responsibilities:
Resident Service
  • Welcome residents, guests and visitors in a warm, professional and personalized manner, creating a welcoming first impression.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Fitzrovia, consistently delivering exceptional service and maintaining the luxury standards of the property.
  • Respond to resident inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating matters to the appropriate team member when required.
  • Provide personalized resident services, including arranging taxis, making reservations, coordinating event tickets and assisting with carrying items or other requests.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, learn and maintain knowledge of resident preferences, and communicate relevant feedback to the Property Management team.
  • Update resident profiles to keep track of preferences, special occasions, children and pet names.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the property, amenities and surrounding community, including local restaurants, retailers, services, attractions and events.
  • Assist with package pick-ups, deliveries and other day-to-day resident needs.
  • Monitor amenity reservations, maintain inventory within amenity spaces and ensure amenities are maintained to luxury standards.
  • Manage vendor check-ins and check-outs and coordinate resident deliveries.
  • Monitor the front-of-house environment and ensure common areas are clean, organized, welcoming and consistent with Fitzrovia standards.
  • Identify and promptly report security or safety concerns, including loitering or unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident information and interactions.
  • Review activity logs at the beginning of each shift and proactively communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of service.
Resident Events
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and executing on-site and off-site resident events and experiences.
  • Support the event planning team with event set-up, execution and tear-down as required.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents and guests during events, ensuring a polished and seamless experience.
  • Assist with coordinating vendors, deliveries, supplies and other logistical requirements associated with resident events.
  • Maintain awareness of upcoming community events and local experiences that may be relevant to residents.
  • Gather resident feedback and share insights with the Property Management and event teams to continuously improve the resident experience.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, hotel management, or property management preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, concierge services or a comparable high-end service environment; or 3+ years of experience in the broader service industry.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, luxury retail, customer service, property management or a similar service-oriented environment is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English required; other languages is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating positive experiences for others.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional, polished and approachable demeanour, with the ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, guests, vendors and colleagues.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning and using technology.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality when handling resident matters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative and working independently.
Hours of Work
  • Part-time team members work up to 24 hours per week and must be able to work on evenings and weekends.
  • Operations are 7 days a week between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Schedules may vary and overtime is occasionally required.
Workplace Conditions
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending and pushing up to 25 lbs.
  • Working in construction environments during the property's opening phase, with exposure to dust, heat, noise and other related conditions.
