Job summary

Aramark at Belleville – CAA Arena is hiring cooks to support food and beverage operations. The Concessions Supervisor oversees food service, inventory, prep, and sanitation to deliver great guest experiences.

This role requires prior food service experience, supervisory ability, and the capacity to work independently. Candidates must be able to obtain a food safety certification and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced arena environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Previous food service experience required.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work to a food service team and supervises completion of tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, food safety and sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Stores food properly following safety policies and procedures.
• Sets up work stations and prep areas, then breaks down and cleans stations.
• Serves food while maintaining guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
• Replenishes food items and ensures products are stocked at appropriate levels.
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests and co-workers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and protects company assets.

Aramark Sports + Entertainment is looking to hire a cooks to support the food and beverage operations at the Belleville – CAA Arena home to the Belleville Senators.

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the food service operation such as inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and supervises the completion of tasks
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers' needs
• Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00.
