Petit Casimir Memorial School belongs to the people of the Northlands Denesuline First Nation, located in Lac Brochet, Manitoba. Our mission is to provide residents of the community with a high standard of academic excellence and preparedness, while simultaneously exploring, enhancing, celebrating, and fully integrating Dene culture, heritage, and language. Lac Brochet is located approximately 250km northwest of Thompson, Manitoba, on Treaty 10 territory. It is a fly-in community. The winter road has limited accessibility only during a few months of the year.
All certified teachers will be placed on a salary scale according to years of experience and degrees/certification/ qualifications. Manitoba teaching certification would eventually be required, if not yet currently in the applicant’s possession.
