Digital Volunteers will support various initiatives that leverage technology, social media, and online platforms to engage with older adults, promote our mission, and drive meaningful change. This Volunteer position is ideal for those looking to gain practical experience, expand their professional network, and contribute to causes they care about deeply. You will be working closely with experienced team members to develop engaging content and facilitate in person and virtual events. Responsibility

To develop easy-to-follow computer lessons that cater to older adults.

  • Assist in creating, develop easy-to-follow computer lessons for older adults to navigate online world.
  • Facilitate in class /virtue workshops Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative digital strategies that align with our mission.
  • Encourage community interaction and support through effective communication.
  • The specific day/time are negotiable and flexible depending on the volunteer's schedule.

Requirements

  • Computer skills, has experience with Windows, Microsoft office, Operating system, web services, Android, social media, browsing the internet
  • Passion on helping older adults on technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Basic knowledge of senior programs and governmental benefits
  • Ability to work independently and with the team.
  • Familiarity with online collaboration tools such as Zoom or Google
  • A passion for community service and a commitment to our organization's mission and values.
  • Sensitive to and genuine interest in the needs of other
  • Respect for others
  • Patient and good interpersonal skills
