RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receive and review batch formulation sheets for specific instructions.
2. Provide checks to verify ingredients are correct and present.
3. Ensure tank is clean including spout outlet and also has the proper mixer.
4. Check and record correct tare weight, tank ID number, weigh correctly and accurately record all chemicals and ingredients according to the Batch instructions.
5. Use pumps, filtration products, piping, connect hose connections to holding tanks and pump or manually transfer ingredients to the production lines.
6. Operate and control the blending machine, and mix ingredients according to the batch instructions. Monitor blending process to ensure quality of the mix.
7. Provide and label a sample of product to lab for testing and verification by the Quality department.
8. Accurately complete documentation as required.
9. Must be able to continuously learn to operate all compounding equipment.
10. Must continue to acquire the necessary knowledge needed for batching all formulas.
11. Maintains a tidy, clean and safe work area at all times.
12. Provides support for production equipment changeover and set-up.
13. Upon completion of batch all empty containers with bung attached must be returned to the chemical warehouse.
14. All partial packages and containers must have the correct net weights and SAP codes applied before returning to warehouse.
15. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ability to work under strict deadlines and multitask projects.
16. Working knowledge of SAP, Outlook, Word, Excel an asset.
17. Working knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS an asset.
18. Previous manufacturing experience required and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
19. High School or equivalent.
20. Excellent verbal and written skills required.
