Job description

Role Purpose:

The Compounder batches a large variety of raw materials to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOPs, GMPs, and government regulations.

Timing:

• Days: 6:30am-2:45pm
• Afternoons: 2:30pm-10:45pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Batches liquids
• Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short and long-term scheduling objectives.
• May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
• Improves profitability by output and efficiency of the batch.
• Follows GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines.
• Follows SOPs in compliance with government GMPs and corporate objectives.
• Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
• Responsibilities may include manufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. in Sciences is desirable but not required.
• 3+ years of compounding experience.
• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Basic math skills.
• Problem-solving, decision-making skills, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Repetitive movement over extended periods.
