Job summary

Rodeo FX in Montreal is seeking a Digital Compositing Artist to assemble visual effects shots and ensure artistic and technical consistency across the 2D pipeline.

You will master roto, clean plates, color correction, and integrate elements, collaborating with supervision, production, and other departments to deliver believably polished images.

A strong proficiency in Nuke and precision creative work are essential for contributing to high-end projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiencies in compositing software and techniques.

• Strong understanding of the 2D pipeline and integration of elements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned digital compositing tasks with precision and efficiency, in accordance with Rodeo FX standards.
• Create masks (rotoscoping) and apply clean plate techniques, retouching, and rig removal.
• Manage the full 2D pipeline: precomps, element synchronization, grain removal/addition, 2D tracking, compositing, color correction, and integration.
