Component Repair Supervisor

The component repair supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the various engine repair departments at our St‑Hubert facility.

This is a full‑time, day‑shift position, Monday to Friday, based in St.Hubert, and is exclusively on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day repair/overhaul operations in a high‑technology industry, on the evening shift
• Motivate and energize the workforce to reach an optimal level of employee engagement
• Responsible for main performance indicators: health & safety, quality, on‑time delivery, productivity, etc.
• Help develop and manage the budget and hiring
• Supervise work shift changes
• Host and take part in meetings with other managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, business administration, or engineering
• Minimum 4+ years of experience supervising employees in the manufacturing sector
• Knowledge and experience with aftermarket repair and inspection processes in the aviation industry (asset)
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience in leading and developing high‑performing teams, groups, projects and/or processes
• Must be quality oriented and committed to providing quality services in a demanding environment
• Ability to work independently in a high‑pressure environment
• Lead to meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest quality of work
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to interact with various support groups
• Working in a French‑speaking environment but requires a working knowledge of English for reading special instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms; communication in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues may be required
