An established industry player is seeking a Compliance Manager to enhance its compliance culture. This pivotal role involves managing compliance processes, advising on regulatory obligations, and fostering a risk-aware environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in compliance within the financial services sector, particularly in mortgages. Join a progressive team that values individuality, encourages innovation, and offers opportunities for career growth. If you're passionate about compliance and want to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
It’s an exciting time to join ING, Australia’s most recommended bank, for the 3rd year running and we’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager – Conduct Compliance and Ethics(CCE) within the Compliance team.
CCE’s purpose is to manage risks arising from Unfair Customer Treatment, Conflicts of Interest, Market Conduct, Anti-Competition, Organisational Conduct and Data Protection, and to help ING manage risks arising from our norms, attitudes and behaviours related to risk awareness, risk-taking and risk management. The role of Compliance Manager – CCE is instrumental in further enhancing and embedding of the compliance risk management culture within ING.
You’ll have a collective responsibility for all the end to end compliance processes primarily supporting the mortgage tribe and relating to the conduct risk categories across ING. You’ll contribute to the shape of global ING policies and be responsible for drafting and implementing local guidelines and standards where additional local requirements exist.
You’ll keep track/oversight of the local implementation of all local regulatory requirements relating to mortgages and ING policy-driven requirements by means of issue tracking, monitoring, Risk Dashboards and other risk specific reporting (regulatory and internal reporting) to internal stakeholders, including ING’s Head Office Compliance function.
Reporting to the Team Leader – CCE, you’ll be proactive in managing the development, maintenance, review and continuous improvement of ING’s compliance risk management framework, policies and procedures.
