Job summary

Allandale Veterinary Hospital, Barrie, is seeking an Exam Room Assistant to join our thirteen-doctor team. You will welcome clients and patients, escort them to exam rooms, record histories and temperatures, and help veterinarians with notes and treatments to ensure smooth visits.

We\'re looking for compassionate, team-oriented individuals with strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Experience with Cornerstone PM software is a plus; flexible hours including weekends may be

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document patient information accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and guide them to exam rooms.
• Record patient histories, temperatures, weights, and other data.
• Assist veterinarians by noting treatments and entering information in medical records.
