Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Brantford, ON is seeking a Guest Attendant to help residents live with dignity and joy. You will connect with residents, learn their stories, and support daily activities to promote comfort and well-being.

You will join a values-driven team that prioritizes compassionate service, teamwork, and attention to safety. The role includes hands-on care, daily routines, and active engagement with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum education required.
• Safe Serve designation and one year experience in dining room service.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Form a deep understanding of residents and their living experience.
• Build relationships with residents and family members; offer support options and program choices.
• Assist with daily living activities including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming as per care plans.
• Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly; provide courteous service.
• Assist with transporting residents to/from rooms, activities, health office and dining room.
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; assist oral and dental care.
• Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned.
