Job summary

Senior Helpers Sarnia-Lambton seeks a caring caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe and independent.

You'll build relationships, support daily living activities, and report on clients' condition. A valid driver's license, vehicle, insurance, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about helping others.
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients.
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone's life.
• A valid driver's license (G or G2), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Current vulnerable sector check screening and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.
• Participate in your clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
