Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Milton location. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care for our residents, working within a compassionate team dedicated to quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes coordination of care plans, collaboration with diverse professionals, and mentorship of unregulated staff. Current provincial registration and life support certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred.
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/long term care an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care per provincial standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain and evaluate care plans; document accurately and communicate changes.
• Teach, delegate and direct unregulated care providers with coaching and mentorship.
