Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking a Personal Support Worker to assist Creemore, Stayner and New Lowell clients in their homes. You will help clients stay safe and independent, assist with mobility and light exercises, and document changes for the care team.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekend coverage, benefits, and opportunities for growth with a leading Canadian home and community care provider. Valid PSW certification and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and car insurance required.
• PSW certificate or valid Home Support Worker certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 12 months.
• Ability to travel within Creemore/Stayner/New Lowell area.
• English communication: strong; French an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to be safe and independent in their homes and communities.
• Assist with mobility, light exercises and daily activities as per care plans.
• Observe, document, and report changes in condition to supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping as indicated in client care plans.
