Job summary

Bethany Riverview is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess residents and develop personalized interventions. You will work with residents to identify goals, coordinate with families, and ensure high-quality documentation and care planning.

The role requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, ACOT registration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support independence and well-being within a 0.60 FTE, part-time schedule at the Calgary location.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing activities of daily living (ADLs) and developing resident-centered interventions.
• Ability to collaborate with residents to identify goals and tailor interventions.
• Strong documentation habits for care plans and progress notes.
• Experience coordinating with families, acute care teams, and community resources.
• Leadership within interdisciplinary teams and guidance to support staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments aligned with Bethany Care policies.
• Coordinate with families and care teams to support resident goals.
• Maintain detailed healthcare records and care plans.
• Collaborate with OT Assistants and other team members to ensure quality outcomes.
