Job summary

Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity at Acropolis Manor under Northern Health in Prince Rupert, BC. The LPN will apply nursing process, perform assessments, plan and deliver care, and may provide direction to other staff within a client- and family-centered care model.

Shift rotations include days and nights; flexibility and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team are essential. BC registration and acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
• One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Apply Nursing Process: assess, plan, provide nursing care.
• Provide nursing care and may direct other staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support clients and families.
