Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Personal Caregiver to join our team in Oro-Medonte, ON. Deliver home care services, including homemaking, personal care, and companionship to support client independence in their own home.

You will follow care plans, observe client conditions, and report changes promptly while adhering to infection prevention practices. The role emphasizes compassionate, quality care with flexible hours and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as customer service.
Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency asset.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management.
Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives.
Observe and document client conditions; report changes to supervisor.
Implement infection prevention practices.
