Job summary

Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services in La Ronge, SK is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to support adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in a licensed group home. You will work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, provide daily care, assist with meals, and promote a safe, respectful living environment.

Candidates should have Grade 12 and relevant certificates (PWC/Continuing Care Aide/Home Health Aide) with First Aid/CPR and Safe Food Handling; prior home care or

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 is required.
• PCW/Continuing Care Aide/Home Health Aide certificate is preferred.
• First Aid & CPR and Safe Food Handling certificates required or willing to obtain.
• Previous home care or childcare experience is preferred.
• Experience with First Nations communities is an asset.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Education plus experience may be considered.
• On-the-job training is provided.
