Job summary

You will handle first calls, coordinate with teams, and ensure compassionate, respectful service from intake to final disposition, while adhering to company policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of or current enrollment in a dual degree mortuary science program.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a funeral home, crematory or cemetery.

Responsibilities

• Answer first calls and assist families with funeral arrangements.
• Oversee respectful handling of the deceased and prep tasks.
• Organize and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies.
• Negotiate contracts and process payments according to policy.
• Coordinate veterans recognition services and interment/cremation logistics.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Provide aftercare and refer pre-need opportunities.
• Document services and maintain records.
• Engage with community and religious groups to grow market share.
