Job summary

Qualifications

• Human Services diploma or equivalent post-secondary training and experience in a related human services discipline.
• Bona fide occupational requirements identified (e.g. ASL, PECS, Braille, lifting and positioning).
• Specific health-care support training or certification as required.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
• Current CPR and First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical and mobility challenges and positioning.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for personal care.
• Support student routines and use assistive technology.
• Administer medications and follow guidelines for procedures.
• Implement programs from allied professionals and provide program support.
