Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education is seeking Casual Educational Assistants to support students who require assistance across various schools and grade levels. EAs are engaged on an as-needed basis and must be able to demonstrate understanding of the EA role and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Casual EAs must demonstrate understanding of EA role and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of child/youth development stages.
• Awareness of diversity and confidentially in handling student information.
• Familiarity with health, hygiene, safety and safe student transfers.
