Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide for the Bradford Valley Community in Bradford, Ontario. This permanent part-time role (25 hours) runs 07:45 am to 02:30 pm, and includes responsibilities in dietary services to support residents’ well-being and enjoyment of meals.

You'll join a team committed to compassionate care, ensuring residents receive meals aligned with dietary needs, while building relationships with residents and coworkers in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain.
• Commitment to compassionate support that improves residents’ lives.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service and communication.
• Experience in food service in healthcare, institutional, restaurant or hospitality.
• Food Service Worker Certificate is a plus but not required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or hold a valid work permit.
• Ability to pass Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving meals.
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences.
• Take menu orders and set/clear dining tables.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation.
