Job summary

Qualifications

• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
• Committed to providing compassionate support that helps seniors live their lives to the fullest
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and effective communication with residents and staff
• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
• Food Service Worker Certificate is a plus but not required
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or hold a valid work permit
• Able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check as required by province

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving.
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences.
• Take menu orders from residents.
• Set and clear tables in dining rooms and ensure sanitation.
• Follow proper food handling techniques.
