We are now accepting applications for Community Support Worker based out of the Nakusp Office.
The successful applicants will provide outreach and community support to adults with diversabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). These positions involve working independently in the individuals or family’s home, and in the community.
This is a part-time position pending program referrals / service demands. Applicants should be prepared to work flexible hours, which are mostly days, with some evenings and on rare occasions, weekends. If you enjoy working independently, having input in determining your own schedule and have a passion to help others, this is an ideal position for you.
$25.90 - $30.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and education. Upon successful completion of a trial period, the position may be eligible for a full benefit package for those working 20+ hours consistently, including dental, vision, life insurance, extended medical, long‑term disability, RRSP or TFSA contributions, and accrued vacation and sick time at 5.8% above BC Employment Standards.
