CFMWS in Canada seeks a Community Recreation Manager to lead and expand leisure programs and facilities for military members and families. You will manage community fitness, sports, arts and culture programming, and oversee libraries and membership services.

You will mentor junior staff and volunteers, partner with local communities, ensure high quality service, and drive programs that support well-being across bases.

Qualifications

• Relevant college diploma or certificate in recreation, leisure studies, or community development or related field.
• Current AED, CPR and Basic First Aid (formerly Emergency First Aid) level certification.
• HIGH FIVE PHCD, QUEST 1 & 2 completed by end of probation.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the department and operations of community fitness, sports, arts and culture programming.
• Oversee services such as libraries and membership offices.
• Mentor junior staff and volunteers to improve quality of life for military families.
