Job summary

The Municipality of East Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada is seeking casual Recreation Program Attendants for arts and crafts and sport programming in Hants North and Mount Uniacke. Qualifications

• Experience leading and planning recreation programming for groups of all ages.
• Basic Workplace First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain.
• Clean Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks required.
• Ability to foster a welcoming and accessible environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down program equipment.
• Keep program areas tidy and barrier-free.
• Sign in participants and assist with tracking and reporting.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all participants.
