Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide community visits, assessing adult clients within a multidisciplinary framework. This casual opportunity emphasizes flexible scheduling and collaboration with equipment vendors to facilitate function.

You will work with a team to analyze environmental impacts on occupational performance, develop client-centered plans, and maintain compliant patient records.

Qualifications

• Registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists in good standing.
• Accepting New Graduates licensed.
• ADP authorization considered an asset.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of community resources available for clients and families.
• Current certification (within past 12 months) of First Aid and CPR.
• A valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and assess client needs.
• Analyze how physical, social and environmental factors affect performance.
• Develop client-centered plans with teams and adjust services accordingly.
• Demonstrate evidence-based problem solving to address client needs.
• Engage clients with a collaborative approach, building rapport and trust.
• Keep professional client records compliant with policies and regulatory standards.
