Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking licensed pharmacists to join our national pharmacy team delivering patient-centered care across continuing care facilities in Alberta. You will provide clinical services, reviews, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care teams.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
Injection and First Aid Certification.
Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Advanced Prescribing).
Experience with Kroll software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical services focused on continuing care contractual obligations, with occasional on-site duties.
Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete accurate documentation.
Educate nursing staff on medication-related topics.
Participate in facility committees and conduct biannual medication reviews with care team.
Ensure prescription safety by prioritizing tasks for Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants as needed.
