Job summary

Medavie Health Services West in Saskatchewan is seeking a Community Paramedic (ACP) to work with primary health care providers and be mobile in the community providing care to patients in their home or community setting.

The CP will perform direct patient care with advanced assessment and treatment, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and may perform ACP duties during shifts. This role supports a continuum of care in collaboration with the broader medical community.

Qualifications

• Must meet all legislated requirements for Advanced Care Paramedics in Saskatchewan.
• Must be registered or eligible for Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
• Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License (or equivalent).
• Must hold ACLS, ITLS and CPR C for Health Care Providers.
• Must provide a current criminal record and vulnerable sector check (within last 60 days).
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract (within last 30 days).
• Demonstrate teamwork and strong interpersonal skills; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide advanced clinical care in the field.
• Safely transport individuals, including emergency and non‑emergency responses.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in line with patient needs and safety standards.
