Bayshore Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home OT services in Ontario. Under supervision, you will assess clients, develop and revise treatment plans, educate clients and care providers, and discharge when goals are met.
You will maintain accurate clinical records, collaborate with the health team, supervise aides as needed, and participate in ongoing education, quality initiatives, and health and safety activities in line with Bayshore policies.
The Occupational Therapist, under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation or Clinical Manager- Branch level, is responsible for the completion of professional activities that include: assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring Occupational Therapy intervention.
Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy. Registered and in good standing with provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
Experience with in-home assessments and treatments. Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients. Dependent upon Provincial government regulations, and the position being applied for, new hires may be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc. Medical exemptions or any based upon Human Rights Code criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
