COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM Full Time Front Line St. John's, NL, CA
3 days ago Requisition ID: 1022
Salary Range: $25.02 To $27.49 Hourly
Stella’s Circle is a non-profit organization rooted in social justice and working together with our community to advance inclusion for its most marginalized members. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to belong. For the adults we serve, barriers such as homelessness, mental health challenges, addiction, poverty, trauma, unemployment, low literacy, and involvement in the justice system can make that difficult. These challenges rarely occur in isolation, and one often makes another harder to navigate. Because life’s challenges are connected, our supports are too.
We are currently seeking Community Mental Health Workers to join our Community Support Program. The Community Support Program provides intensive case management and one-on-one support services to individuals with complex mental health and criminal justice issues. The goals of the Community Support Program are to reduce the number of days individuals spend in hospital and jail, improve the quality of their lives, and help them live successfully in the community.
There are three full‑time contract positions until November 30, 2029. The hourly rate for this position is $25.02 - $27.49. You must be flexible for hours of work as there will be some regular evening and weekend hours for this position.
Stella’s Circle is an equal opportunity employer.
We are committed to building a team that reflects the community we serve, and to creating a workplace where everyone can participate fully and is treated with respect and dignity.
We encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, Black people and people of colour, 2SLGBTQIA+ people, people with disabilities, people living with mental health challenges, and anyone who faces systemic barriers.
We also value lived experience of the challenges our participants navigate, and welcome applicants who bring it.
