Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority in Moosomin seeks a Community Mental Health Nurse (V38733) to join an interdisciplinary team providing screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case management to adults in community mental health and forensic populations.

The role requires a BPN or equivalent nursing credentials, BLS, and relevant education such as Nursing diplomas or Bachelors of Nursing. Work involves field hours and may include recruitment incentives; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) required/strongly preferred.
• Nursing diploma acceptable; Bachelor of Nursing acceptable for equivalence.
• WAVE training or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred/required.
• Experience in community mental health is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case management services to adults in community mental health and/or forensic settings.
• Provide program consultation, coordination, and clinical supervision.
• Educate on mental health issues and resources to staff and the public.
