Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking compassionate Home Support Aides to help clients stay in the home they love. Under supervision, you provide care per an established plan, assisting with daily living activities and meals to promote independence.

You will support well-being in the community, perform delegated tasks after proper training, and ensure safe, respectful, and client-centered care consistent with our mission and values in British Columbia.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry.

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, meal planning and preparation) while promoting independence.
• Support the well-being of individuals and families and promote independent living in the community.

A key component of this job is to ensure the well-being of individuals and families and to promote independent living while in the community.
