Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a dedicated Home Support Aide to help clients stay in the home they love. Under the supervision of a manager or designate, you’ll provide compassionate in-home care aligned to an individual care plan.

You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming and meal preparation, promoting independence and health in the community. A BC Care Aide Registry registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, planning and preparing meals while promoting maximum independence.
• Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed.
• Promote well-being and independent living while in the community.
