Job summary

Northern Health in British Columbia is seeking a compassionate Home Support Aide to help clients stay independent at home. Under supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, plan and prepare meals, and support well-being in the community according to a care plan.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry and a commitment to dignity, safety, and respectful care as you support clients and their families in achieving comfortable, dignified living at home.

Responsibilities

• Provides home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, planning and preparing meals while promoting maximum independence.
