Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to assist clients in staying in the home they love. Under supervision, you will help with activities of daily living, meal planning and preparation, and promoting independence in the community.

You will perform delegated tasks and ensure the well-being of individuals and families, following a pre-established care plan. Must have current BC Care Aide Registry registration.

Qualifications

• Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, planning and preparing meals while promoting maximum independence in the community.
• Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed; ensure wellbeing of individuals and families and promote independent living in the community.
