The Robin Hood Association in Sherwood Park is seeking a Community Disability Worker for the Adult Services Day Program. This full-time daytime role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing direct care and support to adults, youth, and children with developmental and physical disabilities.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary preferred for the role.
• Foundations in Community Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies recommended.
• Completion of Mandatory Training Courses as required.
• Basic coaching and mentoring skills are beneficial.
• Effective time management is essential for shifts.
• Ability to work various shift schedules and stay flexible.
• Positive attitude and mature work ethic are valued.
• Ability to set priorities and manage tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Implement individual service plans to support adults, youth and children.
• Provide direct care as scheduled and communicate changes to the supervisor.
• Assist individuals to pursue personal goals and community participation.
• Support inclusion and transportation training for community involvement.
• Maintain clear records and prepare required reports and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with individuals, families, staff and community partners.
