You are compassionate, attentive, and passionate about working with people with disabilities. You are comfortable providing personal care, engaging in social and recreational activities, advocating in the community, and promoting healthy lifestyles and social interactions. You have knowledge of community events and activities to support integration. You are professional, responsible, and adhere to agency policies. You are solution-oriented, able to identify support needs, and committed to understanding and acting in the best interest of your individuals while maintaining professional boundaries. You have experience working with individuals with disabilities and are proactive in developing programs for their growth. You are capable of managing administrative tasks, including report writing.
This is a temporary position, 20 hours/week, at our Fairview group home in SE Calgary. The pay rate is $21.19 per hour.
