Job summary

MMH is seeking an organized coordinator to help deliver screenings, showcases, workshops, fundraising events, and community programs in the GTA.

Responsibilities include developing event plans, coordinating venues and vendors, managing registrations and guest communications, coordinating speakers and volunteers, and overseeing event-day logistics.

The role is fixed term through Ramadan 2027, mostly in person, with 6–10 hours per week, increasing around major events, compensation $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating public, arts, nonprofit, or community events
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm and resourceful under pressure

Responsibilities

• Develop event plans, timelines, and runs of show
• Coordinate venues, vendors, catering, rentals, and setup
• Manage registrations, RSVPs, and guest communication
• Coordinate speakers, volunteers, and event staff
• Oversee event-day logistics
• Support post-event records and follow-up
