McKinsey & Company in Canada seeks an experienced communications professional to join the North American Reach and Engagement team. You will develop and execute integrated communications strategies supporting clients, alumni, and colleagues, with close collaboration across Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary. Travel to Toronto may be required if based in Montreal.

You will join a team of communications professionals within McKinsey's North American Reach and Engagement function, helping ensure the firm's insights reach the right audiences through integrated communications programs that strengthen relationships with clients, alumni, and colleagues while building awareness of McKinsey's distinctive expertise. You will report to the Head of External Relations and partner closely with senior leadership across Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal, as well as colleagues throughout North America, to develop and execute integrated communications strategies that advance the firm's reputation and business priorities. While you may be based in either Toronto or Montreal, the primary activities and stakeholder engagement are centered in Toronto. If you are based in Montreal you should anticipate regular travel to Toronto to support business priorities, meetings, and key events. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop messaging, identify strategic opportunities, and ensure communications are aligned with audience needs and business objectives. You will also independently manage complex communications projects from planning through execution, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Using audience insights and performance data, you will measure campaign effectiveness, monitor key performance indicators, evaluate media impact, and recommend improvements that optimize engagement and support informed decision-making.

To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in Canada, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $125,600 - $157,000 CAD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
