College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC) is seeking a Communications Coordinator (Temporary 1-Year Term) in BC. You will support content development, editorial planning, social media, media monitoring, and records management to advance regulatory priorities and public protection mandates.
The successful candidate has 1–3 years in communications, with degree or diploma in a related field, and experience in regulatory/public sector settings is an asset.

About the Role
Based in the BC Lower Mainland, CPBC is seeking a Communications Coordinator (Temporary 1-Year Term) to support its communications and public protection mandate. The Coordinator will help build and protect CPBC’s reputation, advance regulatory and strategic priorities, and deliver clear, timely communications to internal and external audiences.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Engagement, the Coordinator supports a range of day-to-day communications activities, including content development and distribution, editorial planning, social media, responding to inquiries, media monitoring, and records management. The role also coordinates workflows and priorities and develops practical systems and tools to help the team work efficiently and consistently.
The successful candidate is a proactive communications professional with a degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience. Experience in a regulatory, professional, or public-sector environment is an asset, as are editorial or media relations experience and training in diversity, equity and inclusion or Indigenous Cultural Safety.

Salary and Benefits
The compensation for this position is $74K to $79K annually based on a 35-hour work week.
The starting salary will be determined based on factors such as the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience; salaries of other employees in the same salary range; market conditions and other relevant factors.
