Job summary

Desjardins in Rimouski is seeking a Communications Advisor to support caisse managers in developing, improving and implementing communications solutions, programs and tools.

The role includes planning the annual activities, advising on strategies, managing events and sponsorships, and ensuring a positive image with members and the community. A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience are required, along with French language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the caisse's annual communication activities plan based on the allocated budget and advise on strategies targeting clienteles, community organizations, officers and employees.
• Advise managers in developing, improving and implementing communications solutions, programs and tools.
• Assist in developing, monitoring and implementing the communications action plan (internal and external).
• Maintain the caisse's and Desjardins Group's positive image, monitor service quality, and handle surveys and complaints.
• Assess sponsorship requests, donations and subscriptions and follow up on funding and social responsibility reporting.
• Oversee caisse events logistics, speech writing, and annual report production.
• Analyze and ensure quality of communication vehicles for members and customers; disseminate information to local media and internal channels.
• Support caisse representatives in maintaining business relationships and organizing customer/community events.
• Moderate social media communities and draft content for publication.
• Coordinate ad placements with partners and follow up on merchandising proposals.
