Job Summary:
We are seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to play a key role in advancing system-level change across Ottawa’s health and community sectors. Working closely with the Ottawa OHT- ÉSO backbone team, Primary Care Network (PCN), Collaborative Leadership Group, Client Partner Table and partner organizations to plan and deliver high-quality communications and stakeholder engagement activities that support the Ottawa OHT-ÉSO and Primary Care Network's goals and priorities.
The Communications Coordinator is a communications generalist with proven experience developing and implementing communications and stakeholder engagement strategies in a multi-organization, multi-sector environment, using evidence informed practices. Experience in health care is preferred.
Reporting to the Director of the Ottawa OHT-ÉSO, the Communications Coordinator will collaborate with communications professionals across OHT/PCN partners and the backbone team to advance objectives in areas including media relations, event planning, internal and external communications, partner and community engagement. The role offers an opportunity to help show how organizations, clinicians, partners and communities connect and work together to improve health and care for people across Ottawa.
