Responsibilities and Duties

1. Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies and align business requirements with supplier capabilities.
2. Work closely with engineering and product management teams to develop sourcing strategies that meet product and business needs.
3. Source strategic component partners and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
4. Manage AVL (approved vendor list), including supplier capability assessment, selection, qualification, and performance management.
5. Conduct QBR/PBR with approved vendors and ensure supplier performance aligns with business requirements.
6. Negotiate component pricing and drive cost reductions through market analysis and alternative sourcing.
7. Assess business risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
8. Conduct purchasing spending analysis and forecast future purchasing needs.
9. Negotiate agreements and contracts, supporting cross-functional teams in critical negotiations.
10. Create and maintain purchasing data and documentation.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of purchasing experience managing commodity/product suppliers.
2. Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing preferred.
3. Experience in supplier and supply chain management preferred.
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills in Chinese & English.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.
7. Result-oriented with strong attention to detail.
8. Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office.
9. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
