Responsibilities and Duties

1. Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies aligning with business requirements and supplier capabilities.
2. Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to develop sourcing strategies that meet product and business needs.
3. Manage AVL including supplier assessment, selection, qualification, performance management, and negotiations.
4. Conduct QBR/PBR with vendors, ensure supplier performance aligns with requirements, and influence product/technology roadmaps.
5. Manage RFQs, drive cost reductions, analyze costs, identify opportunities, and implement benchmarking.
6. Assess business risks, develop mitigation plans, and analyze purchasing data for opportunities and risks.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements, support cross-functional negotiations, and maintain procurement data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commodity/product suppliers.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing environments preferred.
• Supplier and supply chain management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in Chinese & English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across time zones.
• Interpersonal, result-oriented, and detail-focused skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

The pay range is CAD$92,000 - $126,000/month, depending on experience and qualifications. We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
