Kiewit Nuclear Canada, based in Clarington, is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator Co-op to support handover, turnover documentation, and CCM tooling. You will assist with template development, reporting, and CCM data configuration while coordinating with the commissioning team.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, document control, and preparation for testing activities, with a base hourly rate of $21.00–$26.00 and a full-time temporary employment arrangement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) is preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SharePoint applications an asset.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a large team.
• Knowledge of Aconex, Bluebeam, Excel is an asset.
• Able to read blueprints is an asset.
• Valid G license and reliable vehicle access.
• Ability to work in-person at site office/trailer.

Position Overview

As part of the Commissioning Test Group, the Commissioning Coordinator Co-op will report to the Turnover Manager and will assist with preparation and management of handover / commissioning / turnover documentation, including procedure writing, construction / commissioning template form development, report preparation, care and preservation, implementation of the Construction & Completions (CCM) digital tool, estimation of budget, etc.

This role will require continuous communication with all project team members and will provide supports to team members on various administrative tasks.

This project is located on the DNNP site in the Municipality of Clarington, in the Regional Municipality of Durham.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the configuration, preparation and issuance of reports from the Construction & Completions Management (CCM) digital tool in support of TCCC, Handover and Turnover activities
• Interact with the Commissioning Test Group to prepare for Device Component Testing and Pre-Operational Testing activities.
• Participate in meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
