We currently have an opportunity available for a Commissary Coordinator. Reporting to the Cabin Safety Manager, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sunwest Aviation has one an opportunity available for a Commissary Coordinator within our Flight Operations department. Reporting to the Manager, Cabin Safety, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

To coordinate commissary operations while delivering excellent service to external vendors, and Sunwest employees.

• Coordinate with vendors for weekly/monthly ordering.
• Continually research new products and sourcing new vendors for cost savings.
• Handle phone and web orders.
• Receive all deliveries and manage inventory.
• Safely drive and maintain company vehicles.
• Picking up orders that are not able to be delivered.
• Ordering cleaning supplies for Sunwest facility operations.
• Working with the store department to maintain and restock the inventory need for Dash 8 operation.
• Daily restocking of all commissary room and in hangar A
• Verifying and approving all invoices and submitting expenses for reimbursements.
• Coordinating all the laundry cleaning and maintain cleanliness of the sleep rooms.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the commissary line and room including cleaning carts, dusting and polishing the stainless-steel surfaces/equipment
• Maintaining and cleaning commissary equipment like all fridges, freezers, wine fridges, and ice machines. Facilitating all maintenance requirements and service calls.
• Cleaning and coordinating maintenance on all coffee brewers throughout the building with Van Houtte Canada and adhering to their qualify standards
• Tracking our sanitizing practice for all coffee pots, coolers for our safety department to meet Transport Canada Regulations.
• Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest’s Safety Management System manual.
• Assist flight crew with aircraft restocking and removal of expired commissary items
• Complete all company required training when assigned.
• Performing and completing duties assigned by manager in a timely manner.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.
